On Monday, the tribunal was told call records and data retrieved from phones documented Ms Wandelt repeatedly demanding Madeleine's mother for a biological test during the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - at the age of three during a vacation in Portugal - is among the most publicized missing child cases and remains unresolved.

Another recorded message, presented in court, documented Ms Wandelt stating: "I realize I'm heavy and not pretty like Madeleine was, but I know what I know."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone said: "Suppose there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? Then what? Isn't that crucial for you?"

"I don't want money, I possess a life here in Poland, I only wish to understand," the message continued.

The jury was advised that via emails, text messages and calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, sent youth pictures to her phone in a effort to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and asserted to have "memories" from a early life with the McCanns.

The investigator, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who compiled the information, told the court there "seemed to lack any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted family friends of the McCanns, according to the phone records.

On that date, Mr McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt recorded a voicemail on Mrs McCann's answerphone stating "I will persist and I plan to establish my point."
